Freedom Fitness

Freedom Fitness website development by Nikki Kerber

Project: Freedom Fitness – Carroll County, MD
Completion Date: January 9, 2012

Description

Freedom Fitness, a group fitness studio in Carroll County, MD was in need of a website re-design. Prior to working with the studio owner, Tracy Cox, they were using a quick drag-and-drop template from GoDaddy.com. As a result, their previous website was not client or prospect-friendly and did not reflect the studio’s brand.

After a three month re-vamping, working closely with the owner, the end result is a custom and dynamic interactive website that fully reflects their mission and goals. The website integrates specialized software which populates the studios current class schedule and upcoming events. This enables the owner to never have to update the website manually as the information is stored in the software applications – streamlining scheduling and day-to-day operations. Through utilization of third party software, a customized contact form was created, providing the opportunity for current clients and prospects to sign-up for classes and pay their monthly membership dues.

The second aspect to the project was integrating social media marketing and search engine optimization.

Although Freedom Fitness had a Facebook business page, it was minimally updated and had approximately 70 fans. With my assistance, their Facebook page “likes” increased over 65% within 3 months to fans who look forward to daily posts on fitness-related subjects. Website visitors can also watch prerecorded classes and special events on their popular YouTube channel.

Finally, Freedom Fitness ranks on the first page of Google and other search engines for terms like “Freedom Fitness”, “Zumba in Carroll County MD” and “Group Fitness Eldersburg”.
